Pastor Corey L. Bellamy, Sr. & Lady Latrese Bellamy





Pastor Corey L. Bellamy, Sr. is the youngest of fifteen children born to Bishop John P. Bellamy, Sr. and Mother Viola Bellamy. Lady Latrese V. Bellamy is the second twin born to Ms. Lula Wallace-White and the late Mr. George Moore. She has eight other siblings. Corey and Latrese were born in Chicago, IL.


They attended Austin Community Academy High School where they met and fell in love. Corey was baptized in Jesus Name and received the Holy Ghost by the age of nine. After an invitation to attend church services, Latrese also received the baptism of water and the spirit in 1987. They served in numerous positions under the leadership of Bishop John P. Bellamy, Sr. at Christ Temple Church of the Apostolic Faith, Maywood, IL (CTCM).


Corey attended Kentucky State University (KSU) where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Affairs in May 1991. Latrese was enrolled at Wilbur Wright College. On June 22, 1991, Corey and Latrese were united in holy matrimony. Latrese relocated to Kentucky with her husband. Corey completed his Master of Public Administration Degree from KSU in May 2005. Latrese, a wife and mother, continued her post-secondary education and received an Associate Degree and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from KSU.


They attended Christ Temple New Assembly under the pastorate of Pastor Anna E. Davis and served faithfully for up to 23 years. Corey received his ministerial license from the Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith (P.C.A.F.) in June 2003, with encouragement from his father. He was also licensed in the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (P.A.W.) in November 2003 at the request of Pastor Davis.


Bishop John P. Bellamy, Sr. transitioned on April 20, 2006. He passed the apostolic mantle into the anointed hands of Elder Michael Bellamy. Elder Corey was appointed, by Elder Michael Bellamy, as assistant pastor of CTCM in 2008 and received his Ordained Ministerial Credential in August 2010. Later he was named associate pastor. In December 2017, Pastor Corey was appointed by Bishop Michael Bellamy, with unanimous board approval, as Lead Pastor of CTCM with Lady Latrese serving alongside. While in Kentucky, they worship at Greater Faith Apostolic Church with Pastor William McGraw.


Pastor Corey is a Commonwealth of Kentucky retiree with thirty years of service. He worked for the Auditor of Public Accounts and the Office of the Attorney General. He was honored to serve as public information officer and communications director for two attorneys general. Lady Latrese has served over twenty-three years for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. She has worked at the Secretary of State, Public Protection Cabinet, Department of Education and is currently a Human Resource Administrator for the Kentucky Department of Revenue, Office of Property Valuation Administration.


Pastor Corey serves as the chairman of the City of Frankfort Code Enforcement Board and the Kidney Health Alliance of Kentucky (KHAKY) and is a member of the City of Frankfort Civil Service Board and the Franklin County Women and Family Shelter Board.


Pastor Corey and Lady Latrese are the parents of six adult children, LaMarr, LaVetta (deceased), Serena, Sophia, Corey Jr., and Moriah. They have four beautiful grandchildren, Jesseca, Alyssa, Milayah and Demetric.


Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.
